What is Mukh Lepa?
Mukh Lepa is a traditional Ayurvedic facial therapy involving the application of a herbal paste (lepa) on the face.
It is designed to cleanse, nourish, and rejuvenate the skin, addressing skin issues and enhancing the complexion.
Mukh Lepa is tailored to individual skin types and concerns, often incorporating ingredients like sandalwood, turmeric, aloe vera, and neem.
Indications :-
- Skin conditions like acne, pimples, and blemishes.
- Uneven skin tone, dark spots, and pigmentation.
- Signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles.
- Dull or dehydrated skin needing rejuvenation.
- Suitable for all skin types, with formulations adjusted for Vata, Pitta, and Kapha skin types.
Procedure :-
- At first the preparation of skin is done
- Then the herbal paste is prepared depending on the individual’s skin type
- Then the paste is evenly applied to face and neck
- The paste is left on for a specific period of time
- Thn it is gently washed off
Post procedure care :-
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep skin away from direct sunlight for a few hours, as it may be more sensitive after treatment.
- Moisturize: Apply a gentle, natural moisturizer to maintain hydration and prolong the glow.
- Avoid Harsh Products: Refrain from using any harsh chemicals or exfoliants on the skin for at least 24 hours.
